Product Discription:
LeciPOW™ Hy95 is a hydrolyzed, deoiled soy lecithin powder known for its exceptional hydrophilic (water-attracting) properties. It disperses easily in water, forming stable oil-in-water emulsions, making it a highly effective emulsifier. With a high phospholipid content of 95% and a Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance (HLB) value around 10, LeciPOW™ Hy95 ensures superior performance across a variety of formulations. It is insoluble in acetone, soluble in ether and n-hexane, and partially soluble in ethanol and isopropanol.
In animal feed production, uneven distribution of components like oil, protein, vitamins, and minerals can reduce feed efficiency and increase production costs. Hydrolyzed Soy Lecithin serves as a natural emulsifier, especially for oil-in-water mixtures, ensuring a more uniform blend of feed ingredients. Phospholipids, including lysophospholipids (LPC), act as fat emulsifiers during hydrolysis, helping break down fat in poultry. This process promotes faster growth and weight gain in animals.
